In that case I can tell you why I don’t believe in your God. It’s because your stories of him are demonstrably false. It is fiction. Some of it borrowed from the stories of other cultures of the time. Stories which you yourself have discounted. The rest is a mixture of fantasy and greatly exaggerated accounts of a handful of historical people and places. There was no global flood. No exodus of 600,000 men and their families from Egypt. No conquest of Canaan. There was no Adam and Eve and no original sin. Without original sin no need for Jesus.
Your God evolved over time from a minor member of a pantheon of gods into the all-powerful (except he really wasn’t though was he?) psychopathic mass murder of your stories. Unsurprisingly his morals changed as those who believed in him needed them to. The evidence tells us your God is no different than the thousands of other gods you yourself discount. I find your faith in him despite the evidence to the contrary exceedingly sad.
