It is pointless for one to play the "do you know more than god?" card.
In order for it to be valid, one must first demonstrate both that god exists and is omnipotent (Or at least unfathomably powerful, as it would be difficult to prove absolute omnipotence).
Barring that, the judgments of "god" might very well simply be the judgments of stone age people who invented him. If they don't make sense, maybe that isn't god working in mysterious ways, but simply an error. Isn't it odd that god to made two covenants? He would have to know that one set of rules was inferior...
