Hrmph. There's a decent MSI Radeon 7770 card on sale for $78 after $25 rebate. It's a good fit, it is powerful enough to last me a few years, and the price is right.

I'd have preferred a low-profile solution, but I don't know that there are any in the 7770. The Sapphire Radeon 7750 comes in low profile, but is 1/3 slower and basically as much money.

There was an HIS version of the 7770 going for $90, which I probably should have pulled the trigger on, because now the price has gone back up.

I guess I can't decide whether the ability to game again is worth $75-100 or not. I was never much of a gamer, but I'd really like to play Shogun 1 & 2.
