When do we cross the line from 'animal' to 'person?'

The method is not important but what is important is the data!
The data of the position must come from an outside source, it cannot come from inside the animal

That is a big difference between human and animals
God guides animals by supplying them with this information
on the other hand humans need to learn from (other humans)

A non-intelligent evolution (if it ever happened) is impossible because those data need an external intelligent source (God) to feed them into the animal system/brain to utilize.

There is no evidence that God guides animals. Animals are guided, as we are to some extent, by instinct and perception. I don't know how salmon find there way back to the stream of their birth but I'm certain it's by natural means. In scientific terms there is no doubt that evolution by natural selection occurred. There is no requirement for gods in the process.

Every animal that perceives its environment automatically has a constant stream of data with which it interacts. The data consists of perceived changes in their environmental conditions.
