To be exact: Deut 7:3-4 which is as follows: ''You shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons, for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. Then the anger of the Lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you quickly.''
Okay, so EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE if your daughter or son marries an atheist, God just cuts you down. Where's his forgiveness all of a sudden? And lets pick this apart. ''Giving'' your daughters or ''taking'' their daughters? They are human beings not objects. A daughter has her own mind and can choose whomsoever to marry, the idea it's up to the parents to make this life changing decision is simply ludicrous. How on EARTH can anybody trust this book?
Have you ever been outside the walls you live in, serious dude, go to India and many of the countries in that area of the world, prearranged marriages happen all the time. Families in India are aborting female babies by the millions, because they can not afford the dowry it takes to marry their daughters. Guess what they do not trust the Bible.
You think forgiveness is automatic with God, yet do not expect it from your fellow man. If someone commits a wrong against you, don't you want an apology or are you not human. The NT says Christians should not marry another who is not a Christians, it's not a sin to do so, the statement was given to keep hardship down in the marriage and protect the Christians belief.
You do not understand the reasons God gave commandments, nor the meaning behind these commandments, please get your facts straight before making a statement.
I know it happens all the time that's what I am saying. It is WRONG. and you get You're facts right first. That fact being that God doesn't even exist so your arguments are completely useless anyway. And the Kuran is exactly the same as the bible, I suggest you read it as I have done. Both say the same things, both are wrong. God does NOT exist because it is completely stupid to ever believe that a huge ghost lives in the sky, or some unknowable force that can be known only by his followers. it's complete nonsense and anyone who can possibly believe that utter garbage needs their head checking. it's stupid to even think there is a possibility of it actually being true. It's just stupid.
And whats more are you saying God 'destroys' you know for just not doing what he says even though it's not actually a sin? You're an idiot. How is it Christians are so bad at reading? And what's more... God didn't give commandments, man did. Man made up a load of rubbish about seeing god just so the people would follow the rules. Ruling by fear is a dictatorship anyway. before you say anything about that, frightening someone with hell is the same thing. and is 'Frederick neitzsche is dead' God CELEBRATING a death? He must certainly be a complete and utter fucker then. a complete and utter fucker. and actually, I have forgiven people without apology before. don't you dare tell me what I do and don't expect. I don't expect however, you to have an IQ above 40.
For me, The biggest Biblical contradiction is this:
''Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me''
Exodus 20:4-5
I am a jealous god? Isn't that one of the seven deadly sins? Oh dear me. And even worse... He's not going to punish the person who dislikes him... but his Children, and his children's children? Without trail? Oh, so much mercy God... How merciful you really are.
