No, in Islam we accept Quran because it has many proofs inside it to show that it is from God
We don't follow our ancestors!

On the contrary, islam promotes & invented the scientific research for the modern ear

How can you know for sure that he exists?

I think the proof needs an update (for idiots only)
The proof is talking about events not time (We actually don't know exactly what is time)
So I proved that events had a start (first event)

That first event must have a starter (which is beyond and outside the universe)
It is that simple, don't confuse yourself with time or cause and effect.
