Certainly. Obviously some people viewed my comments as malicious. I simply viewed this thread as "open" like any other thread.

So, since I don't know you, and even though you don't care, I'll consider that you might very well be a great person yourself and in time I will have many reasons to point it out.
Ivy, you have now convinced me that my interpretation of your compliments was incorrect; therefore, I apologise for accusing you of being disingenuous and false. I agree with Kayenneh's observation about the cultural differences between England and USA, which is something I did not take into consideration. A lot of English people, including myself, are very skeptical about such things, which is a poor state of affairs really.
I would be happy for the moderators to delete my replies from this thread if required.
