I vehemently disagree. It is abundantly clear that the commercial conspiracy theorists (particularly David Icke) and the global mass media have been outstanding at disinforming and shaping the perceptions of people like you. Anything remotely linked to the word "Illuminati" is instantly ridiculed without the skeptics actually engaging in the thorough critical evaluation of the available evidence. The Illuminati IS real and I can assure you that they practice esoteric, occultic and Luciferian black magic; they are also deeply involved in parapsychology (telepathy, psychokinesis, astral projection and remote viewing, for example) and mind control. According to some estimates, approximately 3% of the United States population is a member of this bizarre clandestine cult.
Ok, cool. You're free to believe whatever you want, and I'm free to laugh, and laugh hard. I mean, why wouldn't I want to take the word of an anonymous internet goon prima facie when he tells me the Illuminati are real?
There are so many logical inconsistencies and contradictions with the idea of a nefarious, clandestine bureaucracy running things behind the scene who also happen to be doing presupposed evil rituals that I wouldn't even know where to being in dissecting it as utter tripe. But I suppose the real crux is that I don't care enough to care, and nobody else does either. "Oh to our doom!" no doubt...yeah, ha, no doubt.
