Well, actually, I'm a PhD student, so I do do a lot of research.

Good for you. I am also a PhD student studying Computer Science, so I am also a very keen researcher.

(in fact, if you want to know, my research is on the utilisation of government resources under NL by religious NGO's in the Birmingham Area through the New Deal, Single Regeneration budget and other ABI [Area Based Initiatives] in the delivery of urban regeneration projects. The aim to deliver a useable and flexible framework for the critique and evaluation of partnerships between FBOs and Government bodies on local based regeneration enterprises into the future during and after the current coalition government).

Again, I am pleased that you are doing something useful with your life. Good for you. It sounds like an interdisciplinary PhD with elements of business, economics and politics.

I'm just dismissive of tripe. And what you're feeding me isn't even seasoned that well.

I would like to politely suggest that you are being dismissive because you have come to some hasty conclusions (based on inductive reasoning).

Like I said, you can believe whatever you want.

And i'm being dismissive because it's nonsense. There are some things worth devoting your time to (Computer science, political philosophy, microbiology...), and others that aren't. I'm putting the whole clandestine power thing firmly in the latter, and have neither the time nor the inclination to spend what precious little time I have fulfilling the delusions of others.
