the article clearly states:
We simply don't know how many drone attacks there have been but we do have some estimate of how many civilians have been killed so saying they haven't killed any at all is wrong we know they've killed atleast 35 civilians in 2012 alone and the real numbers are probably much higher

Determining civilian deaths is even more difficult. The Long War Journal says it has confirmed 35 civilians and 193 militants killed by American strikes in 2012
