Dude,
I was sanctified in the spirit on top of being saved and I still can't make sense of the bible unless I ignore the icky bits! It was at youth camp and was an additional service for saved children to go all "next level" beyond salvation. Weird practice that I have not heard of since.
I cannot even explain the effort and mental flip-flops I went through to maintain my belief in God! To say it is my choice is just moronic. I would love to believe in God again, as wholeheartedly as I did when I was a child, but, I am all grown up and have seen through the bullshit.
I have asked you, Arcanus, and even Anto Kennedy about what path leads to a belief in God. The reason for my questioning wasn't to find a new argument to refute but a genuine searching for the answer. The result has, so far, been further proof that there is no reasonable answer. Anto forgot how he arrived at his belief (how conveinient), Arcanus posited the TAG (which I have yet to look into fully), and then there is you who merely says that you have reasons and have yet to expound on those reasons.
One thing you and I can agree on is that there is a truth out there and I want to know it. There either is or isn't a god or gods. If god exists then which god is the right one? I would be one step closer to believing in God if you actually attempted to solve this one for me.
