No you had it right, but my faith in God was shining and pure as a child, as was my belief in Santa and the Easter bunny, but as time wore on, I obtained new information that didn't jive with my beliefs. Santa and EB went away really fast because my parents admitted that they were lying to me about them. God; well, they still believe in god so it took much longer to see that there is no substance to any god claims.
My mind isn't set on any position other than I exist, which is really the only thing I can know 100% everything else is a matter of probability and right now I believe there probably is no god or gods. I will never give up my search for the truth.
