The whole point of belief is to wrap oneself up in something that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Fuck that! If I want the warm fuzzies I'll buy a friggin' teddy bear. At least it's harmless.
Religion is anything but. Religion promotes authoritarianism, misogyny, has been used to justify slavery, genocide and racism. It is vile delusion. It needs to go. And we will eventually evolve past it.
And no, there is no god. Any god.
My own opinion on belief vs' religion in a nutshell.

That's a fair point, but it's very much your own interpetation when there is no church/religion to tell you what it means.
