Either the explanation is design by a bigger entity, or the most slack-jawed fantastic out of the ballpark string of coincidences and random "just-so-happened" that seems to go on forever.
It is not a given that disbelief in god is the simplest answer.

Actually Occam's razor does apply between natural and supernatural explanations in the sense that with the supernatural you not only have an assumed explanation, you have to also assume the existence of another state of reality to incorporate it.
