It's been abused, overused to the point it can mean anything you want. There was a time, yep I'm that old, when the word was rarely used, and when it was used, people paid attention. Today, it's just background noise. Or it just means that the user lacks imagination in transmitting a better message.
I disagree. Sure, it has lost a lot of its power, but it can still be meaningful if you use it right. There's something about writing a patient, eloquent paragraph and then hammering the point home with a "fuck" at the end that really gets the point across, and I don't think that indicates any sort of lack of imagination.
