Quite a shame how people respond

This is a little bit related, and it's that I thought once:

Isn't it ironic that some of the members who say that they have a "I don't give a damn" attitude are oftentimes the ones who tend to be more aggressive and angry over here?

I mean, if they truly didn't care what theists post here, then why can't they like stop their tongues (or their fingers) from reviling them so much?

I believe that words matter - what you say and how you say them have an impact regardless of what attitude you may wish those words should have. "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never harm me" might contain a lot of bravado, but if that were true, we wouldn't read, go to movies or listen to the lyrics of a song. And certainly forums like this one wouldn't matter at all.
