If rape is always wrong, then god couldn't ask you to do it. God is confined by logic. This does not limit his omnipotence.
So from that logic: Whatever God says is always right... except it's not true, what with the stoning of your bride in the bridal night if she's not a virgin, that's not cool and I suspect you might agree, yet it's in the bible, isn't it?
