Which is -his- contribution to the narrative. If I hear somebody say that they were an atheist who still talked to god- I'm content with the conclusion that they are either A: being incredibly disingenuous, or B: don;t understand what the word atheist means in the first place.

I don't have to add anything to the statement to reach this conclusion. I don't need any special rules-or exceptions, and I don't have to redefine anything that they've said.

I do however think its a dead giveaway - though perhaps we'd disagree on what's been given away.
