Joss Whedon doesn't seem the sort to take Shakespeare and bastardize it. From the trailer, it seems that the script is at least based on the same one Shakespeare wrote. Also, he's using actors who frequently appear in his TV shows; the chemistry between them is brilliant, and their acting ability is too.
Older usage of the english language... cars. The black-white tone with seemingly-forced language in a setting with... cars.
Cars... now that was a good movie

ITT: the best thing to do with Shakespeare anymore IS to 'bastardize it', that is: base some central ideas on Shakespeare, but make the art distinctly your own. Which is to say: cars.

Oh, yeah?
The Avengers was mediocre and over-valued.
Very. But then, just about everything is over-valued these days
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
