and believed to have been caused by flashing lighting bolts from Pikachu. It is
known that flashing, strobe-like lights can produce seizures in epileptics. However,
another explanation could have been supernatural (demonic?). Such visual effects
were discontinued.

If this event really happened (I already hear things about this event or pseudo-event). This episode was probably diffused in others countries. Do you know cases in others countries ? if yes and if all children were epileptic this is normal.
