Festive, I feel for you. Flashbacks are hard. Do you ever listen to calming music and breathe slowly and deeply? I do that. It helps the attack part, but I literally have to visualize myself in a forest by a waterfall and focus all my attentions on that or introduce coping mechanisms like taking a hot shower or doing dishes, to bring the anxiety levels down point by point. Kids however, seem to have a way of bringing it up point by point so I'd say take them to the park and let them play their hearts out while you take some quiet mommy time. But, I'm not a mommy just a stay at home Auntie. Feel better

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
