So you are saying animals are not transported to centralized slaughterhouses? I was told it wasn't even legal to slaughter animals (except a capped # of chickens) on the farm, for everything else you need special facilities (i.e. transport).

Yeah, my dad loads them up in a cattle trailer and drives them 30 miles to a mennonite owned and operated processing shop. One of my very best friends from high school works there as a butcher.

So if we make the transportation of the animal to the processing center more enjoyable for the critters your objections would vanish?

I don't think they would. Therefore why are you bringing this up? Seems like a waste of talking points.
