False assumption. Atheists do not withhold information from their children about religion, they just don't shove it down their throats. Christians on the other hand, you wouldn't believe the lengths they go to stop their children from watching atheist videos or reading atheist books for fear it would cause them to lose their religion. Or maybe you would?
