I'm me because I was born and I live. I'm me because in my lifetime the choices I make have molded who I am in the coexistence I share with others. The actions I take and the events I experience translate to nerve impulses and alter my epigenome, making my body respond to outside forces in particular ways. I'm me because the things I've endured have made me who I am; physically, emotionally, reasonably me. My viewpoint is wrought from a lifetime of experiences of trial and error, observation and success. My being is an accumulation of all these things recorded in my memories, conclusions, and epiphanies. I am who I am and I know who I am. Who are you?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.
