Matt Slick, apologetic's number one defender of the ridiculous and fallacious TAG argument.
Maybe his daughter was embarrassed that he thinks TAG is such a convincing argument.
For the vast majority of atheists, their atheism emerged from their skepticism. In other words, their disbelief is a result of insufficient demonstrable evidence, reasoned argument and valid/sound logic to support the claim that a god or gods exist.
All it would take for me to accept the claim that a god exists is for the claim to meet the above criteria. I believe most atheists would agree. Even Dawkins, supposedly the most ardent atheist, holds this position,

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
