What's a god? God, by the common definition of the term, is capable of very extraordinary things. And those who believe in God think that prayer, the Bible, and just the existence of the world around us is enough to prove their God. But little do they realize that it's not enough to prove God as a creator, let alone prove God as the being who actually interacted and still interacts with our world in whatever ways. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and the more credit God is given for certain things, the more evidence skeptics need before they can believe anything a religious nut is spewing out of his or her mouth.
We won't see any evidence of God ever. I am agnostic, so I strongly believe that there isn't a God, however I'm willing to be wrong about it in the end because nobody knows for sure. And nobody ever will know for sure until the end (and even that would require the assumption that something happens after death, God or not).
There is no absolute evidence for God, and there never will be.
