Until someone says, word for word, "I want to go to hell". They haven't chosen to go there, you can tell yourself they have to help you sleep better at night (but I quite doubt that you lose sleep over something as trivial as billions upon billions burning in hell), but these people were just being themselves, and happened to not believe in your bullshit. It's that simple. Your god chooses to put them in hell. That's on him, and that's on those who agree with his doings.

I've never heard a criminal say I want to go to jail or I want the death sentence, but is they break the law and a found guilty the a sentence is set accordingly.

If you want to play this game, then don't say atheists choose to go to hell, just be honest and say you think we deserve to burn forever for not believing in the same bullshit you do. Because as I understand it, it's not just any bullshit, it has to be your specific brand. All the muslims and hindus are going to hell with us, correct?

I do sleep better knowing criminals are being kept off our streets, I lose sleep over the lost, sorry to disappoint you but, that's the way it is with me.

I don't understand how you can lose sleep over having people in hell now, but think you will be ok with it for the whole of eternity. Do you even know how eternity feels like? That's the point, it's so crazy no one does.

I'm also not sure what you're trying to imply with your jail analogy here. Are you saying atheists will ruin your fun in heaven and so should be sent to hell?

and it does by a persons choice.

Whose choice? I'm not sure what planet you're on, but on this one, most people in jail don't want to be there. They go there because society has decided to live on certain terms that the society believes is just.

Your god's rules are not just, and he came up with it by himself without consulting anyone, so there's no choice involved here. the only choice is his. and he chooses to put us in hell and you agree with that judgement.

As I see it, atheists have plenty to be angry about.
