You see problems and play the race card, even when it is a situation which doesn't involve race. That isn't the same as saying that you're racist. Can you see the difference? If you can't, you should.
What I'm talking about does involve race though. It's unavoidable in this situation. Black girls insulting a white girl that she's ugly because of her race. You can't avoid talking about race and relate what happened. What am I supposed to tell you? Uh, a couple girls told my little girl that she was ugly because she's a... uh... different or something?
Is that clear? You think you know exactly what happened?
Fair enough. You haven't outright called me a racist. But you claim that if I stand up and say an 8 year old girl being mocked by other kids about her race shouldn't have an adult sit idly by and do nothing that I'm racially obsessed.
Is that so different?
Somehow our society has determined that all white people are guilty for what happened before they were born and it's ok, it's alright, for people to beat on them.
I think all racism is wrong. And no 8 year old girl of any ethnic group should be made to cry by cruel kids about her ethnic group and have an adult consider it justified. To not intervene. When they see something that logically they know it's not right happen in front of their face and they think it's ok somehow.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.
