Oh, so a clay pot is a thinking being? It can actually conceptualize who made it and why it was made? Does a clay pot have a book stating that it will suffer eternally if it denies who made it? If your god did not want rebellion inside my mind, I should have been a pot. Yet, your concept of god gave me a questioning, active conscious. That is what separates humans from nonliving things and why we can question.
If your god only wanted me to believe, your god should have made me like a robot and not made me rational.
To paraphrase Bertrand Russell, if such a god did exist, I would ask him/her/it why it did gave me a conscious and absolutely no evidence to support a god's existence.
