It was just hyperbolic rhetoric. I'm not actually advocating lynching bankers. I'm just using that as a device to express my distaste for the conseuqences, or lack thereof, these people face.

Allowing them to go bankrupt is not forcing things. In fact, it is quite the opposite.

I wasn't talking about that though. I'm not an economist, so I try to make my statements to be about things that I know better, but what do you think would have happened if the banks would have gone banktupt?

Except the people appear to be powerless against these tyrants. Short of dire consequences, they will abdicate nothing.

The people are never powerless. As a matter of fact, people are the power. Banks are there to serve people, not the opposite.
If every american withdrew their money from the banks, they would go bankrupt. So why don't you do it?
