Twilight and the Bible?

I'm one of those people who get worked up when I see perfectly healthy people begging on the streets, when they can seek proper employment, or at least education, and do their bit for society.
For someone who can perform mental and physical health checks by sight alone to preach about wasted talents...

But seriously. Homelessness isn't often by choice or laziness. Is this drylandfish again?

Pascal. Darwin. Galileo. I have nothing against homeless people, pray don't get me wrong in that moment of aggressiveness, but rather against people who are countering general progression in society, like murderers or thieves. Would you not agree that they could have used their precious consciousness to greater use?

@padraic: Then peace. I apologize for demonstrating my zeal in the initial comments pertaining to my own personal social circles, and for being defensive in the face of a personal insult. I am sorry you do not share my zeal for a (in my personal opinion) perfect world, and that I do not share your zeal for personal freedom. Same way neither you nor I will share Christian or Muslim vindications. (judged as listed in your 'Religious Views') Our beliefs differ, for that I propose a ceasefire lest it becomes too personal.

But I would just like to clarify something: You're right. I am a 'prig'. I love order. (I'm not going so far as to calling your beliefs a route downhill towards anarchy, but it is, once again, a personal belief that absolute freedom might not necessarily garner the best results.) But I will definitely try to understand, if not respect, your libertarian beliefs, or at least inclination towards freedom from activist pestering.

Regarding your statement: "Once again, the apathy of others is your business exactly how? Who gave you the authority to say what anyone 'ought' to do,say think or feel or not?", I was merely expressing my personal belief. Surely one can dream of a land with flying pink unicorns and candy mountains without being accused of pro-genetic-engineering?

But don't get me wrong; I do believe your opinions are of substantial value. I, too, dislike obnoxious people, but I say 'Actions speak louder than words', and my words on this forum would probably have less impact than an anti-religious parade. Freedom of expression, limitations to action.

So yes, perhaps I AM a "pure D fool". But in the same way all the members in this forum are fools to Jewish fundamentalists or Christian revolutionaries. (no association of rationality, just to demonstrate perspective) I apologize for overestimating my freedom of expression, but I do not apologize for my beliefs. I apologize for that.
