Jesus never said anything because he never existed. God's as fictional as the biblical character talking about him. Ronedee, if you want to go the route of external sources to back up your bible's claims, then be my guest, but they'll be shown to be faulty and non contemporaneous as well...again.

There are external sources, w/o explanation, on either side of the line. But you don't know. We do know. Pretty simple.

If you don't know the reasons for life itself, then why would you know anything about God?

Jesus pointed out the "way". All we need do is practice it.

I am living proof that God exists, for so many reasons I can't count them. Everything that I, and my family, and Christian friends have asked for, we have receieved.

And NO...we don't ask to hit the Lottery. But, more important things in life. Because we know God, and how He works. And as loving children know their parents wishes, we abide by them, and respect them.

The difference between you and me is: I went to Him. You won't. So there you have it. A mexican stand-off between you and God. Thing is, God has much more time and patience then you do.
