I mean if you feel that you can't be high and responsible when you're taking care of a baby, then maybe talk to your doc about other options? Or just don't use marijuana while your wife is also using it.
Also I second BWS's sentiments, you made a mistake, it's ok. It's just a lapse in judgment, happens to everyone, as long as you try your best to be responsible that's all that counts.
