It's impossible to be gluttonous, alcoholic, and disobedient enough tto deserve the death penalty. You kick a kid like that out of the house.

You don't hear atheists mentioning the other verses because they've never read them. They just hear about the allegedly evil verses and go straight to those.

A person who was either honest or smart would conclude that atheists don't criticize verses that aren't flawed. For many of us, reading the Bible cover-to-cover was the first thing that made us doubt Judaism or Christianity.

If a Christian shoots down an atheists idea about particular scriptures and they do not come back with a defense, then why should Christians have to keep putting up with the ignorance, maybe what we need is a place to store such conversations so things do not get rehashed and new members can be direct to the arguments, just sayin'.
