beneficial mutation of human being?

RE: beneficial mutation of human being?
A few things:
1.) This is total BS. Eyes are photoreceptors. No eyes can see in pitch black; even animals with good night vision need ambient light.
2.) Every human being is a mutant with some positive, some negative, and probably some unique mutations.
3.) Evolution isn't about individuals. It's about gene frequencies in populations. Even the most awesome mutation in the world doesn't make you "evolved." As some here have pointed out, if the mutation provides you with a better ability to compete and reproduce, that mutation has a shot at spreading in the population, which just makes that individual fit. I think it's important to be precise about evolutionary language when we know creationists are watching.

And I do wonder if humans are coming to the point when natural selective factors don't much matter anymore.
