typical responses. You do know that other people besides myself read these threads, right? I mean, if you aren't interested in "teaching" then why are you here? Channeling catfish's aloofness isn't going to make you any form of right, and sorta disappoints to be honest. I legitimately want to know why after everything I've laid out for you, you still hold fast to your beliefs. Most atheists I ask equate you to wanting it to be true so you are deceiving yourself into believing it's true and any information that contradicts your morals in any way is dismissed by any number of logical fallacies. Secretly deep down I hope that is not the case, because honestly: that's fucked up beyond measure.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.
