SavedByGraceThruFaith, what makes you think I want to worship a god which would threaten me with eternal torture? I suppose you think this god of yours is also a "god of love," don't you? What you don't realize is that saying "love God or face eternal hell" is like an abuser holding a gun to a woman's head and saying, "Marry me or I'll kill you." Either way you don't go into that relationship willingly and with honest love and devotion. It's all about fear. So why would I want to worship a being I have to be afraid of?
This, aside from the fact that it doesn't prove a god's existence, is why Pascal's Wager fails. Because even if it were valid, you're still worshiping a monster.
