I think you'll find it wasn't atheists that burned witches - it was Christians much like yourself.
I think you'll find it wasn't atheists that demanded a pound of flesh but a Jew - who was forced to convert to Christianity at the end of the play (what a giant leap forwards for him).
All of which means - no deed was done. You are very strong on assigning malicious intent on those that disagree with you but not on your God and his actions.
