Last time I asked this question of a Christian, they said, yes, they would kill someone if God commanded it.

Scary. They're just one dementia trip or schizophrenia diagnosis away from being a murderer.

I see that as the value of the question - it sorts out the people who only give lip service to personal revelation from those you should keep clear of the cutlery.
Sadly, it's those who are willing to act on the voices who I respect more, because they actually put their money where their faith is, but it's the disingenuous ones I'd rather spend my time with, because they are less likely to harm me and mine.
