Significant alterations have been made in the texts themselves and there are differences between the Codex Sinaiticus and the Codex Vaticanus themselves. As one example, the story of the Woman taken in Adultery was inserted into the gospel of "john" because someone thought it was a rollicking good yarn....not because it really happened! |
