Just think if Pope John Paul II had a gun on him when that guy shot him back in 1981. An AK-47 would have been well hidden in his papal robes. Or if only they'd outfitted the popemobile with armor and grenade and rocket launchers. That would teach any would-be assassins and send a clear message that after turning the other cheek, men of God will open up a can of whoop ass.
