Personally, I don't like reading Job often. Although interesting, and entertaining its too dramatic even by OT standards.
The Lord would never put someone with Jobs' faith through such a trial. Never mind making a deal with the Devil.

I'm a Gospel kinda guy! I read a few of the OT books; Wisdom, Psalms, Proverbs....sometimes Sirach, for fun quotes! Like "Choosing a wife"! "A woman has to take any man, but a man must choose his wife carefully." My wife frowned a little @ me just now! LOL!
