I don't know how much I'd share. If it were $100million, I'd probably give a lot of it away to my family and friends. Certainly set up some wise investment for future family members.
Definitely do the house and car thing, probably a trip around the world.
I would spend a lot, no, a shit ton of money on a huge and amazing library, spiral staircases and all. I'd have special editions of all the books printed with the nice leather bindings and covers. All the books would be the same height so they didn't look crappy on the bookshelf.
I'd have every religious text I could find reprinted like graphic novels and have copies lying around the bathrooms, with the rest of the shit.
Then I would live out my life reading my books and enjoying it.
I'd probably try and think up some silly contest to give money away too. For instance, I'd keep track of how many times I heard quotes from my favorite movies or something, and the 100th quoter wins some money!!!!
If it were 1million, Well that's only about $600,000 after taxes. Not as much as it sounds.
I'd buy a modest house (because I'm in an apartment right now, no fun)
as well as this car and the means to make it all modern. Hopefully I'd have enough to start my own printing business so I wouldn't have to work for anyone else.
I'd probably try to keep $100,000 or so and spread it amongst my friends and family.

Thanks to Cinjin for making it more 'sig space' friendly.
