Where's the evidence that a god did anything at all?

Lemme just, you know, put a little asterisk up, for this:
* Unless you're of another religion, gay, unruly, a woman, in the way of god's chosen people, or alive on the planet when god decides things are too sinful.
How can you say there's a right to life in a book that contains an entire story about god killing everyone on the planet except for eight people?
Quote:Liberty is the idea of free will, exercised by Adam and every man, woman, and child after that. And don't tell me that "Yeah, but they were punished for it," because of course they were. Freedom to choose does not mean you always make the right choice.
And do you know what we would call any other self appointed punisher of men, based upon arbitrary rules, many of which offering no demonstrable harm to anyone? A dictator. I'm serious, apply those exact same qualities to a human being, and you'd find them abhorrent, and definitely in conflict with the idea of liberty.
Quote:And the pursuit of happiness, this was an idea our four fathers had about land rights which they did not fully believe in, but I'm pretty sure that "Thou shalt not kill" fills the bill there.
Unless you're a native, of another race, gay, a woman, accused of being a witch...
