Ahhh .. San Diego

I forget. Does anyone here live in the San Diego area?

I live in the city limits, in the district of Hillcrest. Not too far from Balboa Park.

I was born about a mile from my condo, at scripps Mercy.

Truth be told, I like it a bit cooler than San Diego generally gets. 55-65 all year would be fine. Also, I've seen more homeless here than in L.A. or NYC.

But I do love my little district, which has its own "Town Council", which is a monthly meeting that brings in government heads and others. This past week, I met our interim mayor, who is also our district city councillor. Great guy.

I also like our harbor quite a bit. I'm a transport nerd, so I like it that the ship terminal, airport, and train station are all in one area.

Coronado, Ca., is quite nice as well. I used to have reason to go every year because my grandparents always stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado.

I haven't gotten through this thread, yet, so I'm sure I'll join with more.
