As a former Christian, I was on the edge of deconversion for many months. It was the atheists that I interacted with that helped me to make up my own mind to stop believing. I was never offered anything more than the truth backed with reason and evidence, which is much more than I can say for the Christian crowd and their weak arguments and faulty proofs. I am not interested in deconverting anyone - that's a personal decision. I am however, available to offer the same truth and reasoning that once helped me to decide, and I find Christians responding well to a truth long sought, but having spent a lifetime behind the veil of religious lies and butchery.
What "proof" and "evidence" did your new brothers against the Lord give you? Seriously!
You found "truth and reasoning"?
What religious lies and butchery did Jesus commit?
What could an atheist say that is [absolute] in your mind and heart against Christ? Another question perhaps? Is that your definitive answer? Another question?
Over and over again, atheists use people to judge God, on both sides of the issue. When both have flawed logic.
And over and over again Jesus tells us that "men's ways, are not my ways". So if Jesus sides with no man.... what's not to like about Him?
Why keep persecuting Jesus? Was being nailed to the cross not enough for you?
If you were a "true" independent thinker... you would be affirming Jesus' Word, and condeming man on all counts! There is only ONE TRUTH! And it isn't from any man.
Only lies come from men.
Psalms 31:18, "Let the lying lips be put to silence;" Amen
And that is my prayer for atheists.
