It would have been clearer to state that they showed me my faulty reasoning in believing fantasy tales from Christianity.

I found truth in coming to an awareness that Christianity is a scam perpetrated on humanity, and I did so using a reasonable approach (testing what I could demonstrate based upon experience - not unlike you do in reaching your own conclusions).

So they, like Christians showed you a "different" way? The True way? But, you used "experiences"? Interesting.

I doubt the Jesus of the bible actually existed; to me, his entire existence constitutes one big lie.

They would need only point to his bigotry, hatred, baseless judgment and divisiveness to sway me from his fold.

Against who? Liars, cheats and sinners?

Over and over again, atheists use people to judge God, on both sides of the issue. When both have flawed logic.

And over and over again Jesus tells us that "men's ways, are not my ways". So if Jesus sides with no man.... what's not to like about Him?

If you were a "true" independent thinker... you would be affirming Jesus' Word, and condeming man on all counts! There is only ONE TRUTH! And it isn't from any man.

Only lies come from men.

No. the prayer is for the "LIES" to be silenced. Any words against Jesus are LIES.
