RE: What I saw offline today.

I took this on the way home from a walk with the pup yesterday. This is the street and block where we live. On the left side of the street are warehouses. The ones you see here are all work/no-live spaces. In the middle of the block we have the smallest of the warehouses. The extra space is mostly for the wife's weaving equipment. But living in a warehouse means never having to give or throw anything away.
My last principal charitably described my neighborhood as "sketchy". I think that is fair. The next block is all low income subsidized houseing (fourplex's) and noted as the second worst drug area in town. People say it looks like we live in a compound surrounded by high walls, which adds a little mystique to the garden. Don't you think the utility poles add a little .. something to the allure of the neigborhood?
