Are you really implying that medical technology has not improved over time and that, in fact, more people are sick and dying than before?

We are not talking about medical technology.
We are talking about the fact that medical science is not able to eradicate disease as a whole.
Once a disease is eradicate an other pop up so we are not getting anywhere.

You really are an idiot. Back in the Middle Ages, I think you will find that there were a few more sick people around then than there are today. Hell, it was rare for people to live into their 50s.

Beside in the middle ages we had different diseases today we got different one.
Dementia, parkinson, diabetes, different type of cancer and so on are out of control and you say that today is better because the life span is longer.
I have seen people wishing to die as soon as possible as they can not stand the agony.

The work we're doing on cancer and aids. How we cured polio and all those other diseases that are prevelent in 3rd world countries today.
To even suggest that medical science isn't solving our problems is ridiculous.

The fact that the hospital near you is too full of sick people, does not prove anything about the state of medical science.
I went to a hospital recently, and guess what I saw. There was barely anyone in there. It was almost a ghost hospital.
Do you see how irrelevant that is? And how ridiculous it is to judge the condition of medical science based on a few hospitals in a few areas. Even judging all the hospital in a whole country would not be a sufficient sample size to justify your judgement that medical science is not working. You could go to africa and observe all the hospitals there and you would come away from that concluding that most of the world has below average medical care.
Get some damn perspective

Go in the public hospitals not in private clinics and see if you find many empty beds.
