For Islam, all we have the word of believers and a contradiction laden book written under dubious circumstances around 1500 years ago.
You deceive yourself.
There are also hard verifiable quantifiable and tastable against theories for "human" evolution .
For Islam , I have proved many times that there is no contradiction in it , also any person can do the same , just a little research .
People just want to believe what they want to believe , this applies to all . People cannot decide without being bound to a frame of mind and everyone is under the influence of their political and philosophical mindset .
I'm trying to be objective as much as possible .
By the way , please research about some islamic scholar those who were propounded different evolutionary theories . Jabbir ibn Hayyan , Ibrahim an-Nazzam , Al-Jahiz , Al-Biruni , Ebn Meskavayh , Ibn Tufail , Ibn Khaldun etc ...
So muslims are not the against the evolution as you think . Christians are , because this is opposed to their Jesus portrait .
